Church of
the Called Out . .
. How many times we have been asked,
"Don't you know where the word 'Called
Out' comes from?" Yes, we
know. The word ekkelesia means THE
CALLED OUT ONES.
However, prior to starting this wonderful
Apostolic Work I had a dream. I kept
hearing, while I was in that state of
dream-sleep, "The Church of the Called
Out." Over and over those words
came to me.
When I
awoke and did the usual getting ready for the
day things, I opened to the book of
Luke. It was Dake's version. And
one of the references there was that the
church was actually called, "The Called
Out Ones." Of course, I had to
stop reading and compare what I had just read
with the dream. Of all the words in the
Old and New Testaments, I knew that this was
not coincidental that I should be reading the
explanation for what we know the word
"Church" meant. I knew
without a doubt God had spoken to me in the
dream.
God, at
that very hour, was reaching down into the
church as we have known it and dealing with
certain ones' hearts, who had questioned;
"there has to be more than
this." You see, dear hearts, it is
the work of the Holy Spirit to draw us deeper
into the Kingdom of God. However, the
Lord needs our permission before He will take
us higher. What a gentleman He
is. He has a plan for a glorious
church. The title of this church is not
redundant, but in reality, God is calling
those who will hear Him to come out from
among those who are satisfied with man's
religion. He is separating those whom
He has chosen for Himself, to be that mighty
army that He spoke of in Joel, chapter
two.
Nowhere
in the Word of God can we find that the
Church was ten to a hundred thousand
Christians gathered in one place. It
might sound good to say you belong to the big
mega-church, but in reality there can be no
real power of God manifested in this kind of
a setting. The early Church met in
homes. They were small groups that
could minister to one another, study the Word
together, give testimony, and be in one
accord in their prayers. They truly
felt like they belonged and were members of a
"family." They were all
evangelists, due to the fact that they were
so filled and thrilled with the fact that
they were God's ambassadors, each one
powerfully equipped and worthy to be called
Sons of God.
So, that is
what we are all about. If you would
like to know more about this wonderful way of
assembling yourselves together, please get in
touch with us. Yes, we are learning the
New Testament way of having church.
And, we're having a glorious time. I
know Jesus is pleased and glorified.
E-mail us and
let's talk about it.
